Extension of RESTRICTED Burning Period

The RESTRICTED Burning Period for the whole of the Shire of Capel remains and has been extended from 6 May to 12 May 2024 (inclusive).

Any burning will require a permit from the local Fire Control Officer. Details are available on our website Here

Notice of Extension of Prohibited Buring Period

Notice is given that the Prohibited Burning Period for the whole of the land district of the Shire of Capel has been extended from 29 April until 5 May 2024 inclusive, and subject to seasonal conditions may be extended again at this date.
