The Shire provides two green waste and one hard waste verge collections to residential properties on an annual basis.

Hard and green waste collections allow you to dispose of bulk garden and organic waste, and general household junk.

What to remember during the collection week

      • Waste must be on the verge before 7am of collection week
      • Waste should only be placed on your verge no earlier than 2 weeks prior to the collection date
      • Keep waste clear of reticulation, footpaths, fences, street signs and corners
      • The contractor will only check your kerb once
      • Don’t obstruct your normal bin service or the line of sight of pedestrians, cyclists and cars
      • Don’t place your waste on vacant properties or reserves as it will not be collected.
