    Monuments and Memorials

Memorials provide families and friends with a tangible comfort in the form of a place of remembrance. All monumental works must be approved by the Shire of Capel prior to placement in the Cemetery and meet local law requirements. Shire staff can assist with the specification details of memorial plaques for placement of ashes in the niche walls.

    Tributes

We ask that you use only non-breakable vases or containers, and please keep tributes within your boundaries. Visitors are encouraged to remove items when they are dead, faded or broken.

To maintain the integrity of the natural bush setting, floral tributes are permitted in the Capel and Boyanup Memorial areas. Non-compliant or unsafe articles may be removed by Shire staff.
