The PROHIBITED Burning Period for the whole of the Shire of Capel remains and has been extended from 29 April to 5 May 2024 (inclusive).
Permits to burn will NOT be issued during this time.
All local governments are required to undertake an annual review of the CEO’s performance. This is a requirement under the Local Government Act 1995, and the Model Standards for CEO Recruitment, Performance and Termination.
The Shire of Capel Council and the CEO have agreed on a process for performance reviews and key performance indicators against which the CEO’s performance will be assessed.
A CEO Review Committee has been established to facilitate the CEO performance review process.
