Health and community support services are vital to maintaining health and independence in the home and community. There are many services that can help seniors maintain a good quality of life as they age.
Staying connected with events and people and getting timely, practical information to manage life and meet personal needs is vital for active ageing. The Shire developed the Seniors’ Link newsletter to make it easier for seniors to know what social, recreational and cultural activities are taking place in the Shire and local region. The Seniors’ Link has been greatly received and is currently distributed to 680 seniors residing in the Shire.
