The PROHIBITED Burning Period for the whole of the Shire of Capel remains and has been extended from 29 April to 5 May 2024 (inclusive).
Permits to burn will NOT be issued during this time.

The Shire of Capel is inviting the Dalyellup and broader community to attend a Post Fire ‘Check In’ meeting to be provided with updates on the recent Harewoods Bush Fire.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for the community to ask questions and to understand the current situation regarding the bushfire.
During the meeting, the latest information on the fire and its impact on the community will be discussed.
The meeting will also cover the measures being taken by the authorities to manage the ongoing situation.
This is an important event for anyone in Dalyellup and the broader community, post the Harewoods bushfire.
