The day provides an opportunity for all Australians, regardless of whether they were born or chose to be citizens, to celebrate their Australian citizenship. It's a time for us to reflect on what it means to be an Australian citizen and the responsibilities that come with it.

Message to New Citizens" competition!
It's a great opportunity to showcase your creativity and welcome our newest citizens to the community.
You can submit up to three entries, and it can be anything from a personal story to an artwork.
The competition closes on October 30, 2023, and is open to all Shire residents.
