NOTICE OF SPECIFIED WORKS NOISE MANAGEMENT PLAN
It is hereby notified for public information that B & B Street Sweeping Pty Ltd, PO Box 1337 Busselton 6280, seeks the approval of the Chief Executive Officer of the Shire of Capel of a noise management plan for specified works (street sweeping) within the Shire of Capel.

The purpose and effect of this noise management plan is to describe how the noise impact from street sweeping at the following locations will be managed and minimised:
- Forrest Rd, Capel (between Capel Drive and Roe Rd), including Earle Scott Reserve Capel Administration parking between 4:30 am and 7 am fortnightly on Tuesdays (NB day of week may change due to weather or for operational reasons).
- Forrest Rd, Capel (between Capel Drive and Roe Rd), including the carparks of commercial buildings at 24, 28 and 34 Forrest Rd at Shire request between 4:30 am and 7:00 am from May to June (ad hoc).
- Ad hoc works at various locations within the Shire of Capel, as required in response to Shire requests between 4.30am and 7.00am Monday to Friday.

A copy of the proposed noise management plan may be inspected at the Shire of Capel
Administration office, 31 Forrest Street, Capel, between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm
Monday to Friday and
Iluka Capel Library, 31 Forrest Street, Capel between 9 am and 5 pm
Monday to Friday, and Saturday 9 am to 12 pm
Submissions about the noise management plan are to be referenced as follows, “Submission – Noise Management Plan B&B Street Cleaning” and may be made to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Capel, PO Box 369, Capel, WA, 6721, or sent to info@capel.wa.gov.au by no later than 5 pm 27th November 2023.
