Extension of PROHIBITED Burning Period

The PROHIBITED Burning Period for the whole of the Shire of Capel remains and has been extended from 29 April to 5 May 2024 (inclusive).

Permits to burn will NOT be issued during this time.

Railway Road CLOSED from Gavins Road to Elgin Road

Railway Road is currently closed from Gavins Road, Capel to Elgin Road due to a motor vehicle accident.

Please avoid the area while Emergency Services attend.
