Verge side collection of green waste is undertaken twice a year in the residential areas of Boyanup, Capel, Dalyellup and Peppermint Grove Beach.

The RESTRICTED Burning Period for the whole of the Shire of Capel remains and has been extended from 6 May to 12 May 2024 (inclusive).
Any burning will require a permit from the local Fire Control Officer. Details are available on our website Here

Residents and the wider community are advised that a portion of the footpath parallel to South Western Highway Boyanup, at the intersection of Turner and Bridge Street, will undergo construction from Monday 11 December until Saturday 23 December.
During this time, traffic management will be in place.
The Shire of Capel appreciates your patience while the footpath construction works are carried out.
