Notice of Special Council Meeting

The public is hereby notified that the Shire of Capel will be holding a Special Ordinary Council Meeting in the Capel Council Chambers, Shire of Capel Administration Building, Forrest Road, Capel, on Wednesday, 22 October 2025, commencing at 6.00 pm.

 

The purpose of this meeting is:

  1. To formally declare the newly elected members of Council to office in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 1995.  
  2. To elect the Shire President and Deputy Shire President in accordance with Schedule 2.3 of the Local Government Act 1995.
  3. To determine the seating arrangements for Elected Members within the Council Chambers.
