🚧 CAPEL DRIVE NORTH ACCESS CHANGES COMMENCING SOON 🚧

Motorists are advised that the northern entrance to Capel Drive from Bussell Highway is expected to close from Monday 15 June to Monday 13 July (approx.) as part of Main Roads WA safety improvement works.

This is the first phase of a broader project that will see three key intersections into Capel upgraded one after another over approximately 12 weeks, improving turn pockets and slip lanes for safer access to Capel.

During these works:
• Capel Drive North entrance will be CLOSED
• Access to Capel will remain available via Capel Drive South, Spurr Street ONLY
• Local traffic access will be maintained
• Detours and traffic management will be in place
• One lane traffic arrangements may apply
• Speed limits will be reduced to 40km/h in work zones

Residents travelling to Railway Road, Gavin Road and surrounding areas are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time.

Please follow all signage and directions from traffic controllers while works are underway.
