The result has been declared by the WA Electoral Commission for the 2025 Shire of Capel Local Government Election.
We welcome:
• Brian Hastie
• Emily Montgomery
• Martin Voyez
And welcome back re-elected Councillor:
• Peter McCleery
The four representatives elected will serve the Capel community alongside current Councillors Sebastian Schiano, Terri Sharp, Rosina Mogg, Kieran Noonan and John Fergusson.
The Shire joins Council in thanking Christine Terrantroy for her dedication, service, and valuable contribution to the community.
Newly elected Councillors will be officially sworn in for a four-year term at the October Special Council meeting on Wednesday, 23 October at 6:00 pm.
