The Shire of Capel advises that vegetation clearing will soon commence on land commonly known as Greenpatch, located on the northwestern edge of Dalyellup Beach Estate.
This work forms part of a subdivision approved by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) in February 2025. The subdivision aligns with the Greenpatch Structure Plan endorsed by the WAPC in August 2024.
The structure plan includes:
-
Two new road connections to the existing Dalyellup road network;
-
Provision for both local and regional public open space;
-
The delivery of fully serviced lots, including access to roads, water, sewer, power, and other essential infrastructure.
As part of the subdivision approval, several conditions must be met prior to the creation of new lots. These include the resolution of environmental concerns such as potential land contamination, and the provision of necessary services to ensure the land is suitable for development.
