PEPPERMINT GROVE BEACH (HARDY TERRACE TO BAMDI WALK) CLOSED UNTIL 12PM TODAY
Peppermint Grove Beach is temporarily closed following the discovery of a whale carcass that has washed ashore.
For public safety, beach access is restricted while the site is assessed and the carcass is removed.
Community are asked to please:
- Stay out of the water
- Keep clear of the affected area
- Follow all signage and directions from Shire staff
- Keep pets away from the beach
The beach is expected to reopen at 12pm today, subject to site conditions. We appreciate your cooperation and will provide updates if the situation changes.
