The Shire of Capel has released the Draft Local Heritage Survey 2026, endorsed for advertising at the March Ordinary Council Meeting, and we’re inviting our community to help shape how our local history is recognised and preserved into the future.
The Local Heritage Survey (LHS) identifies places of cultural and historical significance across our Shire.
It provides the foundation for thoughtful planning, helping ensure heritage is respected, protected, and meaningfully included in future development.
