The Shire is hosting a Free Community Connections Luncheon to celebrate International Day of People with Disability.
The Luncheon is being held at the Capel Community Centre on Wednesday 3 December from 11.30am to 1.30pm.
The Community Connections Luncheon will bring together people with disability and community group representatives to raise awareness of the importance of welcoming, accessible, and inclusive communities by actively showcasing pathways for participation within local groups.
The Shire will facilitate conversations and ice breaker games during the Luncheon to assist with fostering genuine connections between community group representatives and people with disability.
The Luncheon aims to provide a space where people with disability can discover new opportunities, feel more connected, and experience a sense of belonging.
