The Shire wishes to advise community that capital road works will be commencing on Jules Road North, Gelorup starting this Monday 13 July 2026. This is a Shire managed project being completed by a contractor.
The capital road works will be installing blister islands, connecting and rerouting footpaths and installing signage for the new posted speed limit of 70km/per hr that has been implemented in consultation with Main Roads Western Australia (MRWA).
On-site traffic management will be in place for local traffic admittance as there will be full road closures of sections of Jules Road North, as well as traffic detours in place for community. VMS signage boards are in situ and speed limit variations will also be applied in the immediate vicinity.
