We are beyond thrilled to announce that the Department of Communities have chosen the Shire of Capel Youth Services to host the WA Launch Event for Youth Week WA 2026!
Youth Week WA is the biggest celebration of young people on the Western Australian calendar held every April, and in 2026, the celebrations kick off right here in our community!
When: 10 – 16 April 2026
Where: Right here in the Shire of Capel!
But what is Youth Week WA?
It’s a week dedicated to recognising the enormous contribution young people make to our State’s social, cultural and economic life.
It’s also a chance to:
✔️ Give young people a platform to share their ideas, raise issues, and showcase their talents.
✔️ Celebrate the positive impact young people make in our community.
✔️ Shine a light on issues that matter most to young people.
We’re honoured to be hosting this incredible event and can’t wait to celebrate our amazing young people with all of WA Stay tuned, more details about the launch event will be coming soon!
