International Artist- Jed Parsons!

Introducing our international artist of the Festival of Small Halls - Jed Parsons!

In a number of short years since the release of his dazzling debut album, 'Midnight Feast', indie-pop virtuoso Jed Parsons has etched his mark on the New Zealand music scene.

While Parsons has already left a small mark on the Australian music scene through performances at the iconic folk festivals of Woodford, The National, and Port Fairy from behind the drums with his cousin/award-winning indie-folk artist Mel Parsons, his upcoming jaunt with the Festival of Small Halls marks the debut tour of his own on Australian soil.

Armed with a rich 10-year-old back catalogue of indie, pop, and folk originals, Parsons brings the esteemed reputation of one of New Zealand's most beloved indie talents.

National Artist- Alana Wilkinson!

Full of sunshine, laughs and relatable lyrics, songwriter Alana Wilkinson is our Australian act heading out to Elgin Hall for the Festival of Small Halls.

Self described as a folk-pop-punk-poet, Alana combines delicate melodies with disarmingly insightful vignettes about the human condition.

She loves nothing more than sharing her stories with audiences, making you feel like you're in her living room having a cuppa.

Local Artist- Elise Payne!

Meet Elise Payne!

Elise’s journey began on her family’s beef cattle farm in Elgin. From the tender age of 5, she immersed herself in music, starting with piano and later picking up the guitar.

Her passion for singing blossomed, and during her early teens, she discovered the joy of busking at the Boyanup Markets.

Fast forward to today, and Elise has become a seasoned performer, gracing various venues and events across the South West. We can't wait to welcome her to Elgin Hall to open the show for the Festival of Small Halls on Friday 23rd August.

Make sure you get along to see our very own local Elise Payne.
