Congratulations to local basketball star Zahli who continues to shine both on and off the court!
- With 10 years of basketball experience, Zahli has:
- Participated in state and local development programs
- Won 2x WABL Premierships – the most recent just last Sunday with the South West Slammers U18 Girls!
- Represented the Aces Basketball Club, taking out both A & B Grade Premierships in the 2024/25 season and earning MVP for the B Grade Aces Sky Team
- Been selected for the WA State Team Squad four years in a row
- Competed in 2x College Tournaments in the USA in 2024, gaining valuable exposure for future opportunities
- Won Junior Club Member of the Year with Aces for her incredible volunteer work in coaching and supporting grassroots basketball programs
Zahli currently studies at SEDA College Bunbury in the Multi-Sport Program, regularly delivering clinics and sharing her passion with local schools and community events.
With the support of the Shire of Capel’s Sport Participation Scheme, Zahli is now preparing to represent WA Basketball Academy at the Asia Pacific Cup in Singapore this October – an amazing opportunity to develop her skills and gain international experience!
