The Shire of Capel was thrilled to open its latest recreational facility on Friday afternoon. The Dalyellup Pump Track project was a direct collaboration between the Shire of Capel and the Satterley Property Group. The Shire secured external and municipal funding for the project, totaling $173,269. When paired with the financial investment and project management from Satterley Property Group it resulted in a state-of-the-art contemporary facility being completed.
Dalyellup Pump Track, as well as a new nature playspace, was officially opened by Shire President Doug Kitchen, The Hon Don Punch MLA and Nigel Satterley, with some excited community members enjoying the ride behind the proceedings.
As part of the Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) the Shire received $66,667 towards the project, which complements the recently completed Dalyellup Skate Park.
The pump track, built by Common Ground Trails, is surrounded by grassed areas, ready for the next family picnic or kick-around.
