Well folks, we gave it our best shot… but Mother Nature has other plans this year.
With some seriously wild weather rolling in (think cyclonic winds and rain that means business), we’ve made the tough call to cancel Captivate Capel 2026.
Not exactly the plot twist we were hoping for just four days out from one of our biggest events!
This decision wasn’t made lightly, but keeping our community, vendors, performers and stallholders safe (and not completely soaked) comes first.
But don’t pack away the fun just yet…
We’re redirecting that Captivate energy into some exciting events coming your way:
✨ Wild West Youth Fest – Friday 10 April
✨ Captivate Capel: Indoor Edition (Sustainability Mini Event) – Saturday 2 May
✨ Dalyellup Library & Youth Hub Grand Opening – Saturday 4 July
A massive THANK YOU to everyone who was set to be part of this year’s event. From our incredible vendors and entertainers to the behind-the-scenes legends, we appreciate you more than a sunny forecast.
