Peppermint Grove Beach
This unassuming seaside town is a breath of fresh Indian ocean air. Time to reset from the splashy scene and pay a visit to the ultra-modest contender for the title of WA’s most alluring coastal town. This is your rejuvenating holiday destination that’s a world away from the chaos of everyday life. Peppy Beach (as the locals call it) is home to white sandy beaches, the Capel River mouth, fabulous camping and much more… but, it’s only minutes from an award-winning winery Capelvale Winery, 10 minutes from Capel and less than 30 minutes from Bunbury.
During World War II, the Australian Army established a lookout tower on top of the main dune - the highest point between Bunbury and Busselton - to look out for Japanese warships
Top things to do:
- Watch a sunset whilst enjoying a BBQ at Peppermint Grove Beach.
- Check out Peppy Beaches’ very own Jacobs Ladder - The local lookout. Approx. 120 steps all the way up with spectacular 360° views.
• Grab a woodfired pizza from Peppy’s at the Peppermint Grove Beach Holiday Park
