Gelorup

Gelorup is a semi-rural town located approx. 164 kms from Perth and is home to some amazing Tuart trees that are up to 300 years old and pre-date the colonial settlement.

Known for its flora and fauna Five Mile Brook Paperbark Forest which has an abundant display of wildflowers during the spring months.

Michael Tichbon Park was an old horse paddock that has been revegetated with a huge selection of native flora. Mr Michael Tichbon was also recently awarded as Honorary Freeman for the Shire or Capel for his conservation and rehabilitation works and dedication to the community.
