The Shire has received an application for Development Approval, seeking to amend an existing Industry Extractive for sand at the above property. The Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP) will be determining the application.
The applicant has submitted the following proposal:
· The current approval limits the extraction depth to 20m AHD
· The proposal is to extract to 11m AHD
· The increased depth will provide an additional 1, 099,063 cubic metres of sand
