The Shire has received a Development Application seeking an Industry Extractive for sand at the above property. The Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP) will be determining the application.
The applicant has submitted the following proposal:
· Extract sand from approximately 16.36ha of a 61.7ha site
· Volume of sand to be extracted 500,000m3 over a 5 year period
· Access from Ducane Road, onto Queelup Road and Lillydale Road
· Proposed operating hours 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday only
· Estimated 52 truck movements per day
