Proposal description

The Shire has received a Development Application seeking an Industry Extractive for sand at the above property. The Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP) will be determining the application.
The applicant has submitted the following proposal:
· Sand Extraction from 30.16ha of the 46.39ha site
· Setbacks minimum 20m
· Total sand volume to be extracted – 940,000 tonnes in 15 stages
· Proposed Approval timeframe – 10 years
· Haulage route – Hair Place, Ken Bell Road, Ducane Road, Jilley Road and Lillydale Road utilising 19m trucks
· Proposed 50 daily truck movements (in and out)
