The Health Services staff can test drinking water to make sure it is fit for human consumption.

We regularly test businesses in the area primarily focusing on those that have on-site water supplies for public consumption. We will also sample private water supplies, if you suspect your water is making you ill we will come and test it for you.
Please feel free to call us to arrange a suitable time. Additionally, the health department has information sheets for those who are using rainwater or bore water.
If you are using a rainwater tank please ensure you are not adding to the mosquito populations by ensuring your tank is mosquito proof.
