The development involves:

The Shire has received an application for Development Approval for an Industry Extractive and Extractive Industry Licence at Lot 265 (418) Ducane Road, North Boyanup. Given the estimated cost of the development the Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP) will be determining the application. The proposal is summarised as follows:
• Amend existing approved setbacks from 60m to 3m in South Eastern corner;
• Amend batter slopes from 1:10 to 1:4 on all sides;
• Increase vehicle movements to a maximum of 15 trucks per hour (30 one-way trips);
• Update noise mitigation to reflect increased extraction due to batter slope changes.
