(b) Fundraising events for Shire of Capel special areas of need or where community service based training is being provided. | |
(c) Commercial groups conducting physical activity for the benefit of Shire residents (requires a minimum 50% residents in attendance). | |
(d) Private hire by a Shire of Capel resident or ratepayer. | |
Notes Applicable to Community Hire | |
1) The maximum daily charge is 10 hours hire (additional hours thereafter constitutes a full day hire to the maximum of 24 hours). | |
2) All hire includes shared use of the kitchen (fixed items such as stoves and refrigerators are included, as are removable items (if provided) such as kettles, crockery and cutlery). | |
3) Hirers intending to consume or sell alcohol are responsible for obtaining the appropriate permits prior to their hire. | |
4) If the Shire deems a facility left in an unreasonable state, part or the entirety of the bond may be forfeit (the Conditions of Hire stipulate the requirements). | |
5) Hall hire by the hour includes one (1) hour set up and one (1) hour pack up at no charge, immediately prior and immediately post the booking. | |
6) The annual fee charge entitles community and or incorporated associations facility use for purposes in line with their constitution and up to four(4) fundraising events per annum. Events additional to the four(4) free will be charged at the community hire rate. | |
