2. 50% Concession Hire Category
Individuals or not for profit community groups who are resident or based within the Shire of Capel are entitled to hire the facilities at 50% of the standard hire rate. Groups or individuals conducting physical activity programs on a commercial basis that benefit residents of the Shire of Capel are entitled to hire the facilities at 50% of the standard hire rate. The decision to allow this reduced hire rate is at the discretion of Council.
4. Special Hire Category
Not for profit community groups, charitable, welfare or commuity service organisations, resident or based within the Shire of Capel, who are conducting special fund raising events for other areas of need or where community service based training is being provided, are entitled to hire the facilities at a token hire charge of $55 (limited to one booking per year).
Not for profit community groups, charitable, welfare or commuity service organisations who are conducting annual Christmas functions to recognise the support of their volunteers, are entitled to hire the facilities at no charge (ie: Boyanup CWA, Senior Citizens, etc).

Notes:
1. Hourly hirers are entitled to one (1) hour set up and clean up time at no charge on the day of the hire. This time is allowed immediately prior to the start of the hire and after the end of the hire. If a facility is hired for greater than 10 hours, the full daily charge applies.
2. Hirers must pay a bond that will be refunded following a satisfactory property condition report. Where alcohol is associated with a booking, the bond is increased to $500. Where the expected activity includes alcohol consumption and the expected number of people attending exceeds 75 people, then the maximum bond of $1,000 applies. In specific circumstances there may also be a requirement to have security supervise the activity and/or a negotiated increased bond apply.
3. Hirers intending to consume or sell alcohol are responsible for obtaining the appropriate permits prior to the function.
4. All day hire represents the 24 hour period ie: from 7.00am to 7.00am, and is inclusive of set up and clean up time.
5. Hire of kitchen and bar facilities includes fixed items such as stoves, refrigeration and dishwasher; and removable items (if provided) such as kettles, urns, crockery and cutlery.
6. Facilities are to be left by the hirer in the same state that they were provided, otherwise bond may not be refunded.
7. Hire of meeting rooms are for a maximum period of 2 hours but may be extended depending upon booking demand.
