BUILDING
SERVICES
The
role of Building Services is to assess building plans to ensure
they comply with the Building Code of Australia, issue building
licences for all types of buildings (including swimming pools)
and carry out site inspections for buildings, swimming pools,
fencing and signs.
A

THINKING
OF BUILDING YOUR OWN HOME?
Information
may be obtained from the Shire Office or by contacting the
Builders’ Registration Board. Your completed Owner-Builder
Statutory Declaration and Fee ($110) must be lodged with the
Board, prior to the Shire issuing you with a Building Licence.
