Roads & Footpaths

 

The Shire has regular maintenance programs set in place. 

 

Should you notice any defect in the road reserve or drainage system such as pot holes, faults in the footpath or missing street signs, please call the Shire on 9727 0222 with details of any maintenance issues.

 

The Shire allocates funding from the annual budget towards construction, replacement and maintenance of footpaths and kerbing on thoroughfares.

 

Requests and faults relating to kerbing and footpaths can be directed to Technical Services staff on 97270222. 

 

Signage

 

All regulatory signage mounted on yellow posts comes under the jurisdiction of Main Roads WA.  Phone Main Roads Bunbury office on 9725 5677 or visit their website.

 

To report a fault, damage or to request street signage within the Shire, phone 9727 0222 or email info@capel.wa.gov.au.

 

Parks

 

The Shire of Capel's Parks and Public Open Spaces are maintained on a regular basis.  However, if a park needs urgent attention please contact the Technical Services team on 9727 0222.

 

This includes issues with street trees, reticulation, median strips and roundabout plantings, park toilets, lighting and rubbish bins.
