
Cat Registration
All cats over the age of three months must be registered with the Shire.
Registration helps you to recover you cat if it is lost and assists the Shire to encouage responsible cat ownership.

How do I register my cat?
You will need to complete and sign a registration form. A person under the age of 18 years may not register a cat. Once you have completed the form, please return it to the Shire office with payment and a cat tag will be sent to you.
All registrations are due on 31 October each year and can be renewed for either one or three years.

Limit on Cat Numbers
The law restricts the number of cats that may be kept at a particular property to two (2). Where a permit is issued for additional cats, all cats must also be registered.
